How Access and Security Work at ROOMHOLD
What to expect from individual access codes, recorded CCTV, your unit lock and daily access hours.

READING NOTE
Make a quick list before you start.
Write down the largest items, anything fragile and what you may need to retrieve first. That small step makes the advice in this guide easier to apply.
Good storage security combines controlled entry, a well-maintained building and clear customer habits. This guide explains the layers used at ROOMHOLD facilities.
Your access code is personal
Each customer receives an individual code for the facility entrance. Do not share it outside the people authorised to use the unit, and tell the team if access needs to change.

The site is monitored
Recorded CCTV covers key entrances, corridors and loading areas. Facilities are well lit and enclosed by controlled access points appropriate to the location.
You control the unit lock
Customers secure their own unit with a suitable lock. Bring one or purchase a compatible lock at reception; keep spare keys somewhere separate from the unit.
Access hours are clear
Most ROOMHOLD centres provide customer access from 7am to 9pm daily. Trafford Park offers extended 6am–10pm access. Reception hours are shorter and shown on each location page.
Contents protection matters
The rental agreement requires suitable contents protection. The team can explain the available options and the information needed before move-in.
Still unsure what fits?
Send us a short list and your preferred facility. We will help you compare suitable units.
